Super.Vision Training and Consultancy supports and encourages research into supervision, the skills and theory of, promoting supervision as a profession in its own right.

Super.Vision Training and Consultancy was founded to:

  • Provide Supervision Training and Consultancy,
  • To promote supervision for all practitioners in many fields,
  • To promote supervision as a profession in its own right.

Supervision is recognised as a profession which provides practitioners with the opportunity to reflect on their work, develop their skills and competencies. This enhances the service clients receive, as well as supporting workers in maintaining their sense of well being.

Training is provided for individuals & groups of psychotherapist and counsellors, as well as other professionals such as; community workers, teachers, support workers, voluntary workers, guidance counsellors, mediators, life coaches.

Supervision is both good for the workers and the clients they work with. The employer also benefits through having workers who are constantly developing their competencies and giving excellent service to the clients and service users. Research has shown good supervision to have a positive effect on workers. They are more content in their work environment, with their colleagues and management. Supervision has proven an effective prevention to professional burn out.
